Sales Engineer – Noise Engineering Solutions
Role Overview
We are seeking a high-performance, revenue-focused Sales Engineer who can aggressively convert leads into confirmed orders and consistently achieve sales targets within the industrial and infrastructure segments.
This is a frontline revenue-generating role that demands:

Key Responsibilities (Revenue-Oriented)
Lead Generation & Management
- Actively pursue marketing-generated leads and convert them into business opportunities.
- Develop and maintain structured databases of new and existing clients.
- Generate self-driven leads through networking, references, industry visits, and site interactions.
- Conduct need-analysis discussions and send technical questionnaires.
- Qualify leads based on project scope, urgency, budget, and decision-making authority.
Sales Meetings & Consultative Selling
- Conduct structured sales meetings at customer locations.
- Identify customer pain points related to Noise & Heat challenges.
- Coordinate site surveys with the technical team.
- Collect and document required technical data as per checklist.
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals aligned with customer requirements.
- Handle objections confidently using value-based selling techniques.
- Drive negotiations toward commercial closure.
Proposal & Conversion Management
- Prepare accurate and competitive techno-commercial offers.
- Ensure proposals are technically compliant and commercially viable.
- Maintain disciplined follow-ups until closure.
- Track proposal status, competitor presence, objections, and probability of closure.
- Ensure smooth handover from Order Confirmation to Project Execution.
Customer Relationship & Project Coordination
- Act as the single point of contact for assigned clients.
- Coordinate with Design, Production, Quality, Operations, and Accounts teams.
- Ensure timely execution, installation, and statutory compliance.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction levels to secure repeat business.
- Proactively handle escalations and project-related challenges.
Strategic Sales Planning
- Present short-term and long-term sales strategies to management.
- Identify emerging market trends and new industry segments.
- Develop penetration strategies for:
- Manufacturing industries
- Construction & Infrastructure projects
- Industrial retrofitting opportunities
- Prepare territory-wise revenue forecasts and growth plans.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate / Diploma in Mechanical / Production Engineering
- Minimum 2 years of B2B industrial sales experience
- Willingness to travel across India
- Experience in Noise mitigation, HVAC, acoustic systems, industrial equipment (preferred)
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Data-driven sales tracking approach
